The client component of the Virtual Browser solution is installed on the user’s end-point device. The VB client manages the connection with the VB server, and acts as the user interface (display, keyboard and mouse I/O). Supporting web access, Citrix and TSE, the Virtual Browser solution offers a universal client for enterprise deployment. With the Virtual Browser client the end user has transparent access to enterprise resources, in complete security:

- The connection between the VB client and the server is encrypted using SSL (TCP port 443)

- The server authenticates the user and manages session initialisation and configuration, based on the system administrator’s configuration of the VB server

- The remote display technology is based on the open source NX (NoMachine) protocol and a local X server

The Virtual Browser client is available for the following end-point platforms:

- VB Client : Windows, Linux and Mac OSX

- VB Portable Client : zero footprint USB flash disk version, no admin rights required

- VB iAgent : Apple iPhone client app
